How to wear red lipstick.

*Rule No. 1: The secret lies in the rest of your face

The paler the skin, the bigger the pop. Go light on the eyes and the blush, otherwise you'll risk looking like a clown. Skip eyeliner and go only for mascara (black for brunettes, brown for blondes and redheads), making sure to apply to bottom lashes (it opens up your eyes). Dust face with powder and cheeks with a soft blush.

*Rule No. 2: Line inside of lips

Red lipstick tends to bleed, so fill in lips with lip liner first, suggests makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff in Harper's Bazaar.

*Rule No. 3: Pick the right color

If your complexion is pink, you'll look better in plum shades, while girls with yellow tones are flattered by warmer reds that have a brown base, according to celebrity makeup artist Jemma Kidd in Harper's.

*Rule No. 4: Don't let nails clash

We prefer non-red nail polish when you're going red on the lips. A clear polish or light color is cool, and dark polish is a trend that shows no sign of going away anytime soon. If you want to go red on the nails, make sure the color matches your lips.

*Rule No. 5: Blending is in

Few makeup artists stick to one shade of any lipstick, they tend to blend a few to create the perfect colors. If you've bought a red lipstick shade that's too bright, dark or whatever, don't throw it away. Instead, experiment with other lipstick shades you have on hand to create the perfect shade of red.

I hope you liked this post, see you soon.

How to apply eye shadow.

1. The first rule when applying eye shadow is to blend it well so there are no harsh edges. Put the very light shade (high lighter) on the space beneath the brows up to the crease of the eye lid.

2. Apply the medium shade on the upper eyelid only. Use a lighter shade under the browbone to highlight the eyes.

3. And the darkest shade on the crease of the eyelid that is the place almost in the middle of the total eye area-above the lashes and beneath the brows. Blend both the colors well.

4. With the tip of a fine brush, apply a little shadow beneath the eyes, along the lower lash line. Smudge it lightly to give your eyes a subtle, glamorous look.

Match eye shadow with your eye color

You know the dilemma; you want to wear eye shadow but you’re not sure what color will look best with your eye color. Even though some say that you should coordinate your eye shadow with your clothing, you should also pay attention to your actual eye color as well. But not to worry, because help is here with a quick tips list on which eye shadow hues will look the best on each eye color.

*Blue Eyes

With blue eyes, you should stay far away from blue eye shadow. If you want eyes to pop and look mesmerizing then try wearing earth-tones, such as browns with a slight purple base, taupe, and slate colored grays. If you want to have a little fun outside of the earth-tones, then try a nice rose colored eye shadow. The coolness from the pink/purple eye shadow will be a really nice contrast to your blue eyes.

*Brown Eyes

Brown eyes can get away with wearing almost any color of eye shadow. But if you want your eyes to pop then try either green eye shadow or pink eye shadow. With brown eyes, you can also use blue eye shadow, and if you have gold flecks in your eyes you may want to try an eye shadow that has a gold shimmer to it. Brown eyes can even pull-off wearing brown eye shadow, but be careful because certain tones can look muddy against your beautiful brown eyes.

*Green/Hazel Eyes

In order to get green eyes to pop, you should try wearing various purple shades. The contrast in color to your eyes will make them seem more dramatic. If you want your eyes to stand out but look more natural, you may want to try warmer mocha brown shades or warm colors with slight orange undertones. Basic eye shadow colors for green eyes would be earth tones with slight hints of gold, taupe colors, mocha browns, and lavender-purple shades. Since most green and hazel eyes has a variety of flecks, feel free to experiment with these colors so you can find the perfect one for your eyes.

I hope this post helped you to make right  choice.
